FreeWX (Hard-Wired Stations)

The current release of FreeWX for the hard-wired WM-918/WX-200 stations is Version 2.04, build 050605

This was released on 5th June 2005

There are two types of download available. The first is the full version designed for those who have never installed FreeWX previously. The full version includes the VB6 runtime files required by FreeWX and it is essential that first time users download this version and choose the option to install the VB6 run time files when prompted. The VB6 run time files included are always the very latest version available. The full version download file is named FreeWX204.zip

The second type of download is designed for users who are currently using an earlier version of FreeWX. This is an "upgrade" version. It is almost identical to the full version except that it does not include the VB6 run time files. There are subtle differences in the installation routine so do not be tempted to download the upgrade version unless you are currently already using FreeWX. The upgrade version download file is named FreeWX204ug.zip

FreeWX-Wi (Wireless Stations)

The current release of FreeWX-Wi for the WMR-918/928/968/63-1016 stations is Version 1.01, build 050605

This was released on 5th June 2005
